À propos de eBird by Cornell Lab

Bird watching app that lets you record and track bird sightings from anywhere in the world, seamlessly syncing with eBird—a global online database trusted by hundreds of thousands of birders and used for scientific research, education, and conservation.

Stay connected to the birding community while building your personal records. View your Life, Year, and Month lists for any region or nearby location, and access checklists customized to your location and time of year. The app highlights the most likely species based on real eBird data, and provides instant feedback on whether your sighting is rare in the area—helping you spot and document unusual bird activity as it happens.

Whether you're a casual observer or a dedicated birder, quick entry tools make note-taking faster than ever. GPS-enabled location plotting and tracking options help you log exactly where you spotted each bird, and interactive map tools reveal hundreds of thousands of eBird Hotspots where other birders have recorded sightings. This makes it simple to discover birding destinations and connect with the global birding network.

Work offline anywhere. Full offline functionality means you can record sightings even in remote locations with limited or no internet connection—your observations sync automatically once you're back online. This makes bird tracking possible whether you're in your backyard, a nature reserve, or exploring distant ecosystems.

Access the complete global taxonomy based on The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World, with common names available in 41 languages and regional versions. Names appear in Portuguese for Brazil or Portugal, Spanish, German, French, and many others, making the app accessible to birders worldwide. The entire interface is translated into 22+ languages including Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hebrew, Khmer, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and more.

Your sightings matter. By recording what you observe, you contribute to a massive, open-access database that powers real scientific research, supports bird conservation efforts, and informs education worldwide. eBird by Cornell Lab is the only mobile app that passes bird observation data directly from your Android device to your eBird account on the web, creating a seamless link between your field work and the global birding community.
